TechKnow Shaman has been deeply entrenched in the Los Angeles PsyTrance scene since 1997 when he first started collecting Goa and Psybient records. He soon found himself a resident of Neo-Sapiens in the Los Angeles underground. Playing such events as Primal Trance, EKG, and Transphysics. In 1999 He founded Close Encounters and started throwing small desert parties such as The Sighting, The Landing, The Abduction and Who’s Nutty?
Now a resident of Vector Tribe, TechKnow Shaman’s style has progressed into a more Progressive PsyTrance feel, although you can still expect to hear influences of old school Goa in his sound. On occasion he has been known to play Techno or House depending on the venue and tastes of the crowd.
